Eggs, cigarettes, Soda.........what do these have in common?
They come in packs, or cartons, and none of them are sold right. Let me elaborate........
There are 7 days in a week, yet there are only 12 eggs in a carton.
Soda usually comes in cases of 6, 12, and 24, none of which are equivalents of seven.
Cigarettes, packs of 20, cartons of 10, not at all close to 7.
So what the heck Corporate America? Make it convenient for the consumer, make quantities equal to 7, it's not that hard.
The way it is now, say if I want 2 eggs for breakfast every morning, that means I can eat for 6 days out of 7. So what, on day 7 am I supposed to make a special trip to the store just for more eggs? Same story for soda, what the heck!? Screw that! Smokes, I consider myself a heavy smoker, but not ridiculous, around 10 - 15 smokes a day, not quite the traditional "pack a day" heavy smoker, but still pretty bad. That means that on average I smoke 12½ cigarettes a day, which adds up to 87½ smokes a week, which is 8 packs, and 7½ cigs out of the 9th pack for one week ( 7 days ), which leaves me with 32 smokes and a re-fry left for the next week. That's not enough, I have to make yet another special trip to pick up more smokes. Yeah, for cigarettes I could just quit, but I don't wanna . Even if I smoked less to make up for the lack of smokes left for the 2nd week, I'd still end up with extra smokes left over, and by then they'd be stale. Basically what I'm getting at here is, selling things in quantities equal to 7 would make it much more convenient on consumers. That way we can all pick a day to go shopping and stick with it, ( every Sunday for example ).
.......And that my friends is what grinds my gears, expect another next Monday, LOL!!!

What's with this 7 days idea you're stuck on? Are you following the Julian calendar? What if you're a Baha’i? Then you're following a week of 9 days... think about it. You can adjust. Start your own religion and calendar system.
So if you choose a week of 60 days, then all you need is 5 cartons of eggs, 5 12-packs of soda, and 6 cartons of smokes to be set for the week. Simple. Problem solved.

Tax exempt AND it's against our religion to pay taxes on property or money earned through direct labor.
