How are you getting around this?
Can Americans buy a Japanoid?
Yes, but unfortunately you won't be able to register it to drive on the street. Unless you can produce a letter from the manufacturer of the vehicle; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash tests the vehicle; or it's 25 years old or older you won't be able to obtain a Vehicle Identification Number, which enables it to drive on the road. Laws are different in every state, and there maybe be some strange loophole in Iowa or something; but overall our cars are not welcome. Do some research in your own state, lobby the government, run for governor and change the law to 10 years.

Does your state have a loophole?
Speaking of crash tests...do you really want to end up like this...?
YES, I know these are Chinese cars...but you get the picture. No airbags or anything in that little thing you are looking at. Not trying to "dis" you on what you want, but the safety issue is something I would really pay attention to.
hmm... I don't think I've ever seen a kid your age want an suv before...and that sucks about how you can't register it... hopefully you can find some way around that
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm scared to get into any kind of car that has chinese origins even! I'm concerned now about your saftey as well man.. I mean... I still have yet to kill you in halo!!

Its funny how kids choose early in life what they want to drive when they get a license. Huskielover has wanted a Convertible for as long as I can remember.

You won't be able to "make" a loophole. When you purchase the vehicle you will need to get it tagged. I am guessing that since it is coming from another country it will need to be inspected prior to getting tagged. During inspection they will ask for the VIN. If you can not show them the VIN then you cannot get it tagged. Simple as that. No loopholes for that one, sorry dude.
